Who we are
Emily Harrison is writer, speaker, and advocate for screen time reduction for minors.
With over seven years of experience, Emily assists schools, churches, and community groups craft thoughtful, researched based policies that place the child, not the screen, at the center. She desires to educate parents and other stakeholders on the realities of internet culture and childhood, while incorporating technological skill development for the 21st century.

She is a Colson Fellow and blogs weekly on Substack.
Emily desires to help organizations respond to the fast pace of internet culture in a way that is thoughtful and proactive, not fearful and reactionary. She is known for her dedication, passion, and strong work ethic. She believes strongly that how the next generation uses digital media is vital to a healthy society and it is our job as adults to help equip children for the future that lies ahead. She aims to bridge the gap between childhood development and modern technology in simple, transformative ways that leave parents, caregivers, teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders breathing a deep sigh of relief. Her approach is simple, clearly communicated, yet incredibly thorough. Living through the worst teen mental health crisis ever recorded doesn’t have to be our new normal. There is a better way forward. There is hope and simplicity to be found.
